Dear Mom, Why You Need To Put Down The To-Do List

I think I border on being a workaholic.

By nature, I am a doer. The more I can get done, the better.

I have a hard time doing things without knowing there is a purpose and being able to measure the accomplishment. I think that’s partly why I enjoy organizing and cleaning so much. The results are obvious.

I love a checklist and the thrill of getting things done.

This can be a good thing, but it can also be a negative thing because as a mom, always getting things accomplished shouldn’t be my top priority. My family should be.
