Ok. So I know it’s not the beginning of the month, but meal plans are practical ANYTIME of the month.
One of my favorite time saving tips is to cook intentional leftovers…or double batch cooking or whatever other names it goes by. That is not an easy task in this house. With the amount of food my hubby and Kai put away…seriously!? It can be ridiculous. I’m starting to think I need to invest in commercial size cookware, commercial sized appliances, commercial sized food budget a second mortgage…you get the idea. Our food bill now outdoes our mortgage…and they’re not even teenagers yet. Sigh…
Anyhow, on this monthly meal plan you’ll notice lots of planned leftovers. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I tend to have a mental list of quick go to meal ideas and ingredients for quick meals if the leftover idea doesn’t work out.
I know every family eats differently and this meal plan may not work for you, but maybe it’ll give you some ideas or inspiration.
